Purpose and Compatibility

The SIP video doorphone is designed for use with Panasonic IP-PBX systems (KX‑NS, NSX, HTS824RU series). It registers as a SIP terminal (P‑SIP). No license is needed for HTS824, but an activation key is required for NS/NSX.

Not compatible with third-party PBX systems or other Panasonic models (e.g., KX‑NCP, KX‑TDE).

• Supports up to 3 streams simultaneously (RTSP, SIP call, video analytics), resolution up to 1600×1200 (up to 30 fps), H.264 and JPEG supported

• Frame rate: 5–30 fps; H.264 bitrate can be set to CBR/VBR up to 8 Mbps

• Built-in microphone and speaker with echo cancellation (half-duplex)

• Supported audio codecs: G.711 (a-law/u-law), G.722 and G.729a (the last two for SIP only)
